I believe RuneScape has the potential in reaching its 30th year anniversary
If you are playing an MMORPG for a long period of time like 15 years OSRS Gold, it's a big part of your daily life regardless of whether you like to play by yourself or be an active participant in the community. RuneScape marked its 20th anniversary in 2018 and while there were a few highlights like the Elder God Wars dungeon and Azzanadra's Quest There were also lower points, such as Login Lockout. Login Lockout.
Yet, I believe RuneScape has the potential in reaching its 30th year anniversary because of the way the smartphone and Steam version of the game have introduced it to a wider audience. I'll definitely be playing all the exciting new games, particularly those that involve penguins, or changes to the Construction skill or, if I'm looking for an afternoon break, I can always visit Old School RuneScape.
The game you play for 1,000 hours, but it doesn't mean that you're enjoying the game. You've seen the meme of someone giving a negative Steam review, with more than 5000 hours of gameplay. Let's face facts that's not an acceptable concept anymore.
I've invested hundreds of time into Fallout 4, and I could have had fun with about five hours. It was all about the promise of excitement and that bloody 'kill the loot, then return' gameplay loop tricking my stupid mind into thinking that I was enjoying itself. And I've seen your comments about Skyrim - and how you've been a slave to it again. It's pathetic, all of us.
However, what about old School RuneScape? I don't know. It's easy to spot any of these games as they take over your life, and then you moan about it on the internet. However, RuneScape is something completely different. When I'm playing, I'm not sure if I have an opinion about it. I hear the music in my mind, and feel a gravitational pull bringing me back to it. Discovering it was in my phone was a blunder. My family hasn't called me in some time.
RuneScape was among the pioneers. It was a game exclusively focused on engagement that doesn't have to be paired with fun. That's not to say they're mutually exclusive the fact is that there are methods to keep playing even when you're not having enjoyment.
RuneScape also happens to be one of the most efficient in its field buying osrs account. I've been watching the fan-made documentary, RuneScape Historical Timeline 1998 until 2020, about the growth of the game (it actually has affected all aspects of my life) and the game's developers were amazed at the players' ability to max out stats in months, rather than years.
